Akris, Alexander Wang, Nicole Miller, Ohne Titel via Elle
The weather has been absolutely beautiful lately, driving me into instant motivation and productiveness and making me love getting dressed in the morning! This time of year is all about comfort and ease for me, which brings me to part two of my spring trends: sporty-chic. Sport couture emerged as one of this season's biggest themes, where the runways were filled with easy, athletic pieces in bright and bold hues - playing the perfect juxtaposition for spring's otherwise sweet, delicate flare.
We saw parachute strap dresses at Altuzarra and sleek track pants from the boys at Rag & Bone, Nicole Miller, and Ohne Titel. Alexander Wang's mesh bombers took me into a Dieselpunk era, while his racetrack suits had me seriously revved up for this breezy, spring weather. Floral hoodies at Wang may look ready for the playing field, but I guarantee that you will be seeing them on street-style enthusiasts. Now more than ever before, huge fashion names are collaborating with sportswear brands. You may already be familiar with two of the most famous ones - Stella McCartney and Jeremy Scott.
Take a look at a few of several sporty-chic pieces that I'm oh-so-craving this season!

Michael Kors Stretch Racerback Dress; Juicy Couture 'Eleanor' Neoprene Backpack;
ASOS Rubber Skinny Belt; Giuseppe Zanotti Patent Leather Colorblock Wedge Sandals;
ASOS Ark Leather Wedge Booties; T by Alexander Wang Neon Track Pants; Alexander Wang

Will you be sporting the sporty-chic trend throughout this spring and summer?
